Drowning

“Rain but where you appear it is neither water nor atmosphere rain because if you are not it is only longing and it can drown”.
The project starts from the last verse of a poem by Eugenio Montale, Rain. Starting from that I tried to analyze death by drowning, working on two opposed channels: the images tell the poetic side given by the longing that can drown; the audio explains, in a medical methodological way, what happens during the drowning phase. It takes 3 to 10 minutes to a body in water to die, the blood volume, in extreme cases, can reach a point where it doubles and the person goes through five phases before brain death.
